LastDream Labs LLC ("LastDream Labs," "we," "our," or "us") is dedicated to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. We recognize the sensitivity of your data and are committed to handling it with the highest level of care. Rest assured, we will never sell your personal information to any third party. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of personal information from you when you use our app:

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we may collect your name and email address. Firebase Authentication processes your sign-in credentials; LastDream Labs does not store your password in plain text.
  • Usage Data: We may collect information about how you use our app, such as your IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, usage frequency, and pages visited.
  • Approximate Location: If you allow optional analytics, approximate location may be derived from your IP address. Hosting and security providers may also process IP addresses to deliver the service and prevent abuse.
  • Other Information: We may collect other information that you voluntarily provide to us, such as through contact forms, surveys, or user support requests.
  • User Content: Any content you create, upload, or share using our app, including text, images, or files, may be collected and stored in the cloud for processing, storage, and to provide app features.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar browser storage for necessary site functions and, only with your permission, for analytics. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using the site.

  • Necessary storage: We use a session cookie to keep signed-in users authenticated, local storage to retain items placed in the shopping cart, and a preference cookie named ldl_privacy_consent for up to 180 days to remember your privacy choice. Security services such as Firebase App Check and reCAPTCHA may also use device information or similar technologies to prevent abuse.
  • Optional analytics: If you allow analytics, we use Google Firebase Analytics to understand page visits and interactions. It may collect approximate location, browser and device information, session statistics, and interaction events, and may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id>. Article view measurement may also set a 12-hour deduplication cookie.

Optional analytics stays off unless you choose to allow it using the privacy control below. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time. When you reject or withdraw consent, optional analytics collection is disabled and accessible analytics cookies are removed from your browser.

How We Use Your Information

We may use your personal information for the following purposes:

  • To provide you with the services and features offered by our app.
  • To personalize your user experience.
  • With your consent, to measure and improve our app and services.

App Store Distribution

Use of Google Cloud Services

Our apps may use Google Cloud services to process and store user data, including user-generated content. This means that some of your information may be transferred to and managed by Google Cloud servers in line with Google's security and privacy standards. We are committed to ensuring that any data processed through Google Cloud is handled securely and in compliance with all applicable privacy laws.

Sharing of Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the service, comply with the law, protect rights and security, or when you give consent. These providers include Google Firebase and Google Cloud for hosting, authentication, storage, security, and optional analytics, and Stripe when you choose to begin a purchase. External article previews are not loaded automatically; if you choose to load one, the external provider receives the connection request and may apply its own privacy practices.

Legal Bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information to provide services you request or perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, and protect the service and our users. Optional analytics is based on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Data Security

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law. If you request deletion of your data, we will comply with applicable laws regarding the removal of such data. The privacy-choice cookie lasts up to 180 days, the article-view deduplication cookie lasts up to 12 hours, and the site session cookie lasts up to five days. Google Analytics cookies, when allowed, may last up to two years unless you withdraw consent or remove them sooner.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; and appeal or complain to your local data protection authority.
